Soni Moon

Soni Myers MS, LCPC
Counseling Center Director
Soni Myers holds a Master’s in counseling from Northwest Nazarene University and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Idaho. Soni lives in Nampa with her husband and son. She has been with Refuge Counseling Center since its founding offering services to individuals, couples and families. She is experienced in working with those suffering from a variety of issues such as marital distress, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, abuse/trauma and grief. Soni views it as a privilege and honor to be invited into the lives of those she works with and finds it very rewarding to walk along side those seeking healing and hope in their lives and relationships. As a registered supervisor she also provides clinical supervision to graduate level interns and post-graduate counselors. Mitch Smith

Mitch Smith MS, LPC
Mitch received his master's degree in counseling from Northwest Nazarene University and is a Liscensed Professional Counselor in the state of Idaho. Originally from western Washington, Mitch and his wife have lived in Nampa for the past 3 years. As well as being a counselor, Mitch has worked with at risk youth in the Treasure Valley. Mitch specializes in working with men who struggle with sexual addictions. Mitch is available for Friday appointments. Claudia Mehlhaff
MS
Claudia Mehlhaff graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with a masters degree in counseling and is a graduate intern working towards licensure in the State of Idaho. Besides being a counselor, she is a certified teacher, having taught school for over 30 years, and a very proud mother of three grown daughters and grandmother of four precious pre-schoolers. John Glisson
John is currently working on a Master’s degree in counseling from Northwest Nazarene University. He is originally from the Midwest and has lived in the Treasure Valley with his wife for the last seven years. John loves working with individuals, couples, and families. His true passion is helping to restore relationships. Above all, John is appreciative of the opportunity to journey alongside his clients.
