I believe that God created all of mankind in His image so we might fill the earth with His glory by flourishing under His lordship. However, because we live in a broken world, many of us do not experience this as a reality. As a counselor, I am passionate about helping individuals and couples understand what is keeping them from enjoying this fullness of life and pursuing goals toward that end. So often, it is our spiritual and relational brokenness that creates significant pain. Therefore, I especially appreciate opportunities to facilitate healing in these areas.

I have had the honor of walking with others in their counseling journeys since 2006. I counsel from a trauma informed perspective and work to create a safe environment which fosters growth and restoration. My graduate training focused on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), however, I also draw from attachment theory, family systems, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), narrative, and client-centered theories. Because each person I work with is unique, I desire to collaborate with you to understand your therapeutic goals and tailor our treatment approach accordingly.

Personal Interests

I have been married to my sweet husband, Anthony, since 2002, and we have had the joy of partnering together in leading marriage enrichment retreats over the past 12 years through our church. I joke that nature and sunshine are my love languages, and though we are not Idaho natives, we are thoroughly enjoying all the access to nature that this beautiful state offers! I especially enjoy hiking, skiing, biking, and exploring national parks.
