I believe there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to counseling, as each individual brings their own unique experiences and perspectives. I am passionate about walking alongside clients as they learn, grow, and navigate life’s milestones and challenges. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space grounded in compassion, empathy, and genuine connection.
I take a person-centered approach, honoring each individual as the expert of their own experience. I also incorporate a systems perspective, helping clients explore the relationships and environments that influence their daily lives. In addition, I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients in navigating choices and reconnecting with their core values.
When working with children, I incorporate play as a central part of the therapeutic process. Play is a child’s natural language—it is how they learn, process experiences, and explore the world around them. By providing a safe and supportive environment for this expression, children can build confidence, develop emotional awareness, and strengthen their sense of capability.
In my own life, I often return to the phrase, “Plot twist!” as a gentle reminder to stay present when things don’t go as planned. While we cannot always control our experiences or how they impact us, we can choose how we respond and engage moving forward.
Personal Interests
I have a loving, supportive husband who can match my quirky tendencies and two beautiful children who are at the center of my world. In this season of life, much of my time and heart is devoted to raising them—supporting their growth, nurturing their curiosity, embracing the chaos, and finding meaning in the everyday moments of family life. When I’m not immersed in motherhood, I enjoy spending time in nature, capturing moments through photography, and being near the water whenever I can—spaces that help me slow down and stay grounded.
