Welcome! I’ll give you a little info about me, in case it’s helpful. I have been married for 28 years, which my sweet husband and I recognize as a miracle of God’s grace. I am a mom of two fantastic teenage boys, two entitled cats and two ridiculous dogs. I have been a counselor for 20 plus years and I love my work. I consider myself blessed to be able to help people who find themselves overwhelmed with life for one reason or another.

My approach to counseling is fairly simple. I believe God designed us to enjoy his creation and walk with each other through life, guided by His love. Because we are broken beings, living in a broken world, we get hurt, scared, frustrated and overwhelmed. When we are emotionally healthy, life can be easier and more fun. We can feel better, our relationships can work better and we can be more secure through our connection to God. As a counselor, I get to help you identify the emotional wounds that are making your life difficult and help you find healing and hope so that you can be restored to a life of joy.

How we enter into the discovery, healing and growing process has a lot to do with who you are and what approach is most comfortable for you. We can figure that out together. Whether or not we integrate faith into the process is entirely up to you. I enjoy working with people of all ages and a variety of struggles. If you would like to find out more, please feel free to reach out to me via e-mail.
