Mickalene Thomson

Student Intern

Reaching out for help takes courage. As a counselor, I seek to meet you where you are and walk alongside you. We will collaborate to utilize your strengths, build resilience, and explore the pathways that align with your values and life purpose.

With a focus on holistic wellness, we will explore the factors that affect your personal, social, career, and/or spiritual connections. With balance and care, we will honor your mental, emotional, and physical health.

As you take courageous steps toward meaningful and positive changes, I will encourage you to apply grace and mindfulness to the process. Throughout our work together, I offer a sense of humor and a mature perspective to help you navigate life’s challenges with compassion and discernment.

Personal Interests

I love to explore nature by visiting National and State parks with my husband and children. I enjoy game nights, cooking Dutch Oven deliciousness, and designing Tunisian crochet blankets. My self-care routines include spiritual and meditative practices, reading historical fiction, and going for walks. Above all, I appreciate a good laugh and quality time with loved ones.
